  1. I think i met my goals mostly because my goals were 1. to stay focused and 2. to be serious and not goof off. I never really goofed off and i did stay focused mostly because i never really had anything better to do because this movie was very fun to act in.

  2. I think our movie turned out pretty well. My goals were to develop the story through my acting and to deepen my facial expressions. I think I achieved that because there was one scene where Gabe did a close-up on my face and I had to put on my maddest face, which I did well. Also, my acting really did help develop the story because without my good acting, there wouldn't be the same comical sense there is now. I would like to thank my whole group for helping me be a better actress.
Another movie I liked a lot was The Rolling Ball. I liked how they took advantage of the setting and filmed around the whole school. One thing they could improve though was that the camera was shaky in one of the scenes. Their movie was very good too.

  3. How did you like the result and how did you meet your goal?
I think that my result wasn't the best but I can see my goal as being a director is progressing. I am communicating a lot with my crew. They respect my opinions and they also give ideas. One thing that I think is that the other movies did a great job. For example, One Jolly Left had many good effects like the old time black and white and also they had a classic scene, running through doors. Another group, Practice Makes Perfect? did an amazing job using setting. They figured out an apartment! They also used the soccer field as a apartment court. The last one that I thought that was really good was Rolling Ball. They went to all the way to the tennis courts to the kindergarten classroom. They also acted very funny and real. I think that analyzing these really good projects, made helped me think improvements for the next project.

  4. (For The Rolling Ball) should get a 5 because they mastered the criteria, and made a creative, funny, and interesting silent movie, but not a 6 because the camera shook visibly a lot and at the end the ball bounces back into view for a second in the corner, but in the end its still a good movie.

  5. To me, the result of the movie was pretty good. Since I think the plot structure was okay, I think that the story still made sense and the creativity of the story was good. Some scenes in the movie were really good such as kicking a goal from different angles made it seem more realistic.

Moving on, my goal was met because of the way the movie was flowing smoother than the last movie and the way the music set more of the mood of the current scene. This time I think the filming was quicker because we had less conflicts and that meant there was more time to edit and thoroughly think which sound was better.

Next, I watched ''The Rolling Ball'' and I really liked it because of the fact it had many different creative camera angles and how the story was made funny because of the realistic acting and conflict. The way of making a small problem of losing a soccer ball is turned into something so big where a person is chasing a ball from one side of the school to another because he can't seem to just grab the soccer ball. One thing I would suggest for this movie is only to make sure the stability of the camera is as good as possible. Overall, I think it was a movie that was really well thought out, and it probably took many tries to film everything.

One thing I actually noticed while watching everybody's film in class was that many scenes had the camera moving either during the scene or at the end. I would recommend that the Camera person film first and after the scene is done, wait a little bit so that camera shaking can be cut out easier without taking away something important.

  6. I am proud because I accomplished my goals, I did a better job on this second one than my first one. I payed attention, helped my group, was always filming with my group mates. The "Sweet Revenge group"made a funny movie. They combined a type of horror and comedy movie. It was funny when Mathaus appeared and "killed" Thea, it remembered of funny things.

  7. Sweet Revenge was a very good movie and i really liked the movie's plot. But the only thing that wasn't that well was the scenes in the movie like how they filmed it and how some of the scenes dont make sense.

  8. The Rolling Ball was a very artistic movie. The first thing I liked about it is how the plot flowed easily and it was easy to understand the movie. When I see this film I also think, "How much time did it take for the to ball go exactly where they planned it to go?"Even though the movie was good overall, I noticed some small errors. One was that the camera shaked in a part. Next time, try to be more aware of the scenes.

  9. How did you like the result and how did you meet your goal?
I think that our final result was good. My first goal was to make a movie with different camera shots and angles, and I think that we accomplished that really well. On the other hand, I think that our story wasn't clear, and that was my second goal. But I am sure I will learn from my mistakes and make the next story great.

I watched One Jolly Left, and I really liked it. TO begin with, I thought that it was very good how the scene of the doors was so cool and the editing was pretty good also. In contrast, I think that something to improve in my opinion is that the movie should have been in color. I also watched my group's video and thought that the scene where Max scores with the tied shoes, because I think that it looked really natural.

  10. I think that we could have done a lot better for a summative assignment because, I think that we got a 3 or a 4. I think that I met my goals very very well. My goals were to use the rule of thirds, I used the rule of third as much as I could. My second goal was to communicate with the director. I feel I did this very well because we communicated extremely well.

I feel that a movie was fantastic was One Jolly Left. I feel that the use of "Peach Cobler", Black and White Effect, and the Speed made it seem like an old time comedy. I can only imagine the effort that the Post-producer had to give to edit the door scene. All in all, I think that they deserve a 4 or 5.

  11. I think I met all of my goals for this first summative assessment in digital video. First of all, I am sure I met my first goal because I really helped my group, I gave good ideas and I always gave my opinion for every shot. Second, I think I could have done the shots a little better, but I still think I did a good job on it, but I think I could have done a little better. I think for this assessment I would deserve a 5.

  12. In my opinion, my group did great in our movie! ("The Rolling Ball") Wow! What an experience! We really put our guts into this movie and especially me as a director and Laura S who stayed with me to finish the movie. Even though there was frustration, using our time after school, and sometimes errors, everything really was for a good reason. Honestly, there wasn´t any major error in our movie. The only small errors that I can name were camera steadiness and in the beginning use of time. Apart from that, we mastered or met criteria in every other section. I can assure you that no one on the group will fail. But moving on, did I meet my goal? My goal was that as a director I should lead my group to success and help everyone with their role. The truth is, I completely demonstrated this and maybe went beyond! The reason is that I would always explain every scene to the group and the role of each person. I also helped them in their role like editing and the camera man. But something I do admit is that sometimes I was a bit too bossy. With out any show off, I also think I led my group to success since there was no major error and we all felt proud in the end. It's amazing how I improved from our first movie in digital video to our second one! I feel really proud of our movie and my group and everyone in the class should also feel proud of their work.

Moving on, why don´t we talk about the other movies? Well, one movie that really stood out to me was "One Jolly left." For me, this movie was really good and I am surprised! Congratulations! There are many reasons of why I say this. One is that their camera angles were creative and always great! Another one is that I liked how they speed up the movie because I feel like it matches the movie very well. I also think that their effects were great like when they slow-mo in the part when Camila drops the candy. Not only this, but I also liked how it was like old and cartoon style. The bumping into each other scene was a great example for that! But not everything is perfect... In my opinion, you should've changed the soundtrack to make it less repetitive and also your camera wasn´t very steady all of the time. Apart from that, great movie! Not only for this movie, but everyone did good in their movie. Everything has it's strengths and weaknesses...
